Introduction of THUSFA

Tsinghua University Science Fiction Association of Students was established by a group of student sci-fi enthusiasts in the spring of 2003. We warmly welcome all life forms sharing the same interests in SF works with us, including fiction, movies, video games, fantasy, Kung Fu movies, etc.
Currently we have over 400 members, with various activities on the move. In campus, we invite academics and writers to give lectures about all kinds of issues relating to science, technology, society and imagination; our book salon hold regularly, where fans can enjoy sharing reading experience. Outside campus, we attend or host sci-fi forums both domestic and abroad and play a part in the promotion of Science fiction movies and new works. We also encourage members to write and publish their works. Every two weeks, Writing Workshop has a meeting aiming at promoting writing skills and manufacturing ideas. Outstanding works will be anthologized, published, awarded and some have gain nationwide, even worldwide attention.
As a cornucopia of imaginations and eccentric ideas, we provide shelter for any sparkling soul. Whether you are a dimension jumper, an veteran wandering in the boundless space, or a dream-chaser back from α Centauri where three suns shine; Whether you are a red-shirt who has leaped beyond stars or just a newbie Zaku pilot; no matter faiths, 42 or Merlin; no matter species, human, elf, cyborg, or timelord; even if you are the one who picked up the ring in middle-earth or the specific being who planted World Tree in the continent of Azeroth-you are welcomed here, and you are sure to find someone you enjoy a conversation with.
